The new Tesla Model 3 was delivered to the first 30 eager buyers this week. And I must admit it’s a brilliant looking car – with the ability to rocket from 0 – 100kmh in under 5.6 seconds. Impressive! But what else can we take from looking at it?

Strokes are terrible things; unpredictable, debilitating and life changing. That’s why I must admit that I was a little surprised when, a while ago, I received a phone call from a new client wanting refresher driving lessons after suffering a stroke. He wanted to enjoy the freedom of driving once again.

It’s an exhilarating experience doing 100 km/hr into the first corner at Sandown Raceway. It’s even more thrilling when your driver is visually impaired.

I’ve been a driving instructor for many years now and have seen many people come and go. From youngsters getting in the driver’s seat for the first time to hearing impaired – they all have a story to tell.
